Os azulejos coloridos brilham intensamente pelo sol, e todas as rajadas de vento rasgam as praças, ruas e caminhos. As roupas são lavadas e estendi- das em cordas que atravessam a cidade transformando-se em bandeiras de visita a quem por lá passa ou a vê de longe. Os lençóis e roupas lavadas ligam as casas e as pessoas.
Nesta cidade cada casa tem um baloiço, uma escada feita de corda, e janelas e portas escavadas na madeira. As árvores são tão altas que toda a cidade é listrada de finos raios de sol que se escaparam por entre as frondo- sas copas. Algumas construções erguem-se da vegetação e constituindo um amontoado de casas que sobem até atingirem os raios de luz

This is a layered illustration that I made for a friend of mine who does some architecture visits in Porto for turists.
This illustration explores the qualities papercutting. I made some iconic buildings like Clérigos Tower, Casa da Música, Serralves and and played with their layers to produce some light and shadow effects.
